This product really takes me back to the beginning. My gaming roots started with 1st edition. The art is superb and some of the fluff/crunch is going to make it into my homebrew. Do you have plans for a campaign book using the system?Glad to hear it.

If you've any tweaks/takes on the game, don't hesitate to share them with us. We have a couple of such conversations going on our forum at the moment.
As for the campaign setting: We don't have any immediate plans to release a campaign core book. However, the World of Twylos example setting was almost released as a separate entity, and it's entirely possible this will happen as Twylos grows. We are starting work on setting/module-like material, and the first of these will fit within the WoT. Philosophically speaking, that's where we'd like to spend our energy. Wayfarers was made for home-brewing.
Download Karate Training Videos on this page. Thus, we don't intend to release large supplements to the system itself. We are very inclined to share ideas and system tweaks (our own and others) within an electric or periodical format. But we don't think it serves the game well for the YOGC to publish authoritative system-altering supplements. On the other hand, GMs and players can always benefit from new setting ideas for their campaigns. For this reason, we will focus on campaign/setting material. These pubs might contain system tidbits, such as a new discipline, but in a setting-related context. That said, we are very keen on community and aim to actively share, promote and support other people's takes on the system.
It was for this reason we created the Ye Olde Gaming Alliance (There's a link to the YOGA on our site), and made Wayfarers OGL. One of the best parts of the gaming experience is the sharing of ideas. If anything, it's our aim that Wayfarers will be a conduit for that. At any rate, I hope you can extract some stuff that will improve your game! Oh, man, this thread brought back some memories! I was looking to buy my first sci-fi rpg. I'd played D&D for a few years, but I specifically wanted a sci-fi game so I could design a Blade Runner campaign, after I'd read the novel (after the movie came out). My choices at the time were Traveller or Star Frontiers. I knew almost nothing about either of them, except what I'd seen in Dragon Magazine.
I went with Frontiers, and our first sci-fi rpg campaign was a handful of PC 'blade runners' chasing androids around the Port Loren city map on a weekly basis. Absolutely friggin' fantastic. I even statted out Deckard's gun for them, and a Voight-Kampf test aparatus. Anyway, for old times' sake, I'd recommend snagging the old Frontiers rules free online (). Simple, fun, and includes flying cars.
I've since gotten the Alternity rules books, so I think my next sci-fi campaign will be based on that. Can't say how they work yet, but I think Alternity has a grittier feel than Frontiers, so maybe it'd catch the mood of the Blade Runner film better. However, I also have both the D6 Space and D6 Adventure books, so I certainly could appreciate combining them into a 'Runner universe. If that's the route you take, Jontheman, please let me know how it goes. I'd be interested in an update, whatever you go with. Man, I miss that game! Let me tell you about my mother.'

If that's the route you take, Jontheman, please let me know how it goes. I'd be interested in an update, whatever you go with. I started to set that up, but I've decided to go a different route - I'm going to adapt my SKETCH system for it and produce a 100% unofficial game using the basic elements of the movie. It'll be completely free, it won't be endorsed or approved, but it'll be a Blade Runner game. I'll fill it full of disclaimers and make sure that everyone knows it's a fan-made creative excercise.
Once I get that written, which shouldn't take long, I'll post a link from where the PDF can be downloaed from.
