Crack Code D Activation Tomtom Live
The basic question is, 'Do I need one?' I have 2 devices that run Tom Tom in-car GPS. One is an Ipaq PDA which runs Tom Tom Navigator 5 via a Bluetooth GPS receiver and the other is a Tom Tom Go 630 Traffic which I have just bought on eBay.
The TT Nav 5 software was a totally separate thing from the iPaq PDA and contained installation files and maps of the UK and Europe on 7 CDs. There is an Activation code with this which is entered on to the PDA when Tom Tom is installed. It may also need to be input if the maps are changed. I don't know about that because I never changed from the UK map. The new device is working perfectly but, being a natural born worrier, I can't help thinking that if there is ever going to be an Activation code needed, it will be needed on mine sooner than later.
The Tom Tom Go 630 came with a windscreen mount, in-car charger and a blank for the SD card slot. Nothing else. So, has my device ever needed an activation code? If so, can I retrieve the code from the device in case it is ever needed again? Under what circumstances would I need an Activation code?
Many thanks for any info and apologies for firing off all these questions. You know what it's like when you get a new toy.

I have told them about this months ago but the units are all packed and spme have the misleading verbage. Another thing misleading is to connect your device while downloading. It only needs to be connected when and if it is istalling on your device. They also need nto warn people about issues with Explorer 9 in their start up literature.
They do it in their downloadable manual. They need to insert a warning laeflet with all the issues. I am a no read the manual type until after I play with the device ande get the feel, then I go back and read it. I was surprised what it contained. #1 thing most CS reps are not knowlegeable about My TomTom app. Lonewolf wrote: Hi, I've the same problem. I've also registered my Tom Tom via the website, but inside my box is stated, that i will receive a webvoucher for about 10 Euro when i register.
How do i get this webvoucher? I can't find it anywhere. I hope someone can help me.
Thanks Not sure if you ever got that sorted but I am possibly heading for a similar issue. I have more than one TT and as stated all over the forum i used a 'dummy' email account to be able to update one of them. Advanced Email Extractor Pro Registration Cracked Feet more. However i think my $10 has gone to the dummy account.
All this messing around with multiple emails for more than one device is a bit of a pain. I have more than one TT and as stated all over the forum i used a 'dummy' email account to be able to update one of them. However i think my $10 has gone to the dummy account. Almost certainly. The discount codes are delivered by e-mail. I would advise using real accounts, even if they have stupid names like donkey.one@xxxx.xxx (use whatever e-mail service you prefer), then make sure you link the TomTom accounts to your usual e-mail account so that all messages actually get forwarded, and you do get any discount codes in time to use them. Soz 45 AND Kex but it was the reccomended way in here you dont have to look too far to see the posts that mention it. To be honest what better way for people with more than one TT to keep them all grouped under a SINGLE email After all TT gets the serail number info from each device so to be honest here it actually makes much more sense and is way more logical to have all your devices under a single email.
(sorry if that sounds too logical and contains far too much common sense LOL) As it happens and for the first time since my trusty TT ONE XLS email support came up trumps! That in itself is cause for celebration! Obd2 Chip Tuning Programs there. 45 If you only knew how many seniors I have to visit who buy technology. Most only have one email! Most DONt WANT any extra things to remember. Many have more than two vehicles. Lots want things kept as simple as possible I could go on about the amount of clients I have who are NOT seniors and operate under similar conditions to seniors.
The serial number and model are all collectable from TT so there is no real reasoning in your statement about an email deciding which gets what update. The point you make simply does not make sense when the software knows what device is connected. Even in the case of connecting more than one device of the same model the serial number that the application collects is as good as a network MAC address and even more reliable than email. Why make it overcomplex for Mr Regular Joe In the case of fleet management you have an even bigger argyument for a simple one email or account. Then why not apply that principle to end users to really make your platform more universal and much more manageable for ALL The phrase 'KISS' comes to mind here.
